At our season launch, Pine Hills Netball Club was proud to present the indigenous artwork created by Lauren Turner specifically for our club. Through the support of Moreton Bay Regional Council's grant program, our club has been able to undertake this project and we are thankful for Lauren both for creating this art for us and sharing the story of the design she has created.

The importance of this design was to display the strength Pine Hills Club has as a community. The main circle on the bottom of the shirt represents the meeting place/land on which the community come together to play. On the yellow and green circles is the person symbols gathered, with kangaroo symbols around the outside of the yellow to show the importance of the animals in the area also. This meeting place provides a safe and fun environment for all its members and spectators. Which in turn, those who meet here come with the respect for every individual who passes through, the animals of the area and the land Pine Hills courts stand on. This is where Pine Hills members are able to come together, regardless of backgrounds or ability. ‘We are all connected, we are stronger together’.
The travel lines which join the circles on the rest of the shirt is the travel journey which represents the journey of the players, coaches, and those associated with the club. All traveling from their different walks of life - coming together for the one purpose, the passion of the game. In turn highlighting the growth of Pine Hills club and its members, as it continues to evolve its players into the best spiritual warriors that they can be.
